Dr. Claudia Giani-Leber studied art history, Italian and modern German literature at the University of Basel, where she wrote her doctoral thesis on the Swiss painter Alfred Heinrich Pellegrini. Since 1994 she has run her gallery Arte Giani for contemporary art in Frankfurt. In 1994 she founded what is now ACATIS Investment KVG mbH. Dr. Claudia Giani-Leber is the managing director there and is responsible for marketing and PR.

Dr. Hendrik Leber studied business administration at Saarland University, St. Gallen University, Syracuse University (New York) and the University of California, Berkeley. He received his doctorate with a focus on banking management from the University of St. Gallen. From 1984 he worked for McKinsey in consulting for financial service providers and then for Bankhaus Metzler in corporate finance. In 1994 he founded what is now ACATIS Investment KVG mbH. Dr Hendrik Leber is the spokesman of the Management Board and Portfolio Manager.
